The 2007 Langhe Nebbiolo shows plenty of density and richness in a core of sweet, perfumed fruit framed by firm yet well-integrated tannins. This is an especially soft, forward Nebbiolo perfect for near-term drinking. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
A good introduction to the grape with jammy strawberry fruit, coffee beans and rose petals held in by firm tannins and crunchy acidity.
| Wine maker notes |
| This wine has a composed, heavenly, and elegant bouquet; ther is a hint of violets, morels and, as it evolves, a particular sensation of spices. The taste is delicate yet full bodied and aristocratic. A wine to accompany roasted meats, wild fowl and seasoned cheeses. |
