Buy Montes Sauvignon Blanc Leyda Limited Selection
This wine is clear, crispy and fruity with light yellow-green, bright and transparent color. 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Leyda valley. There is no oak ageing in this wine in order to maintain the freshness and crispiness of the Sauvignon Blanc from this area. Peaches, pineapples and other tropical fruits with citric hints blend together with a nice minerality, making this wine fresh and appealing. The aroma shows its power and super Sauvignon Blanc character, also showing the full potential of its cold zone origin, with morning fogs, low temperatures and long hanging period. At the palate is quite persistent, very fresh and crispy with a nice structure at mid palate.
Winemaker's Note
88 Points, Wine Spectator
A very minerally style, featuring flavors of flint and chive laced with tangy lime and fleur de sel notes. Shows good cut on the bracing finish. Drink now. 13,400 cases imported.

89 Points, The Wine Advocate
The 2010 Sauvignon Blanc Limited Selection was also fermented and raised in stainless steel. Made from Leyda fruit, it was produced from significantly lower yields than the Classic Series cuvee which may account for its impressive concentration and laser-like focus. Notions of thyme, stony minerals, spring flowers, and gooseberry lead to a racy, lively, lengthy Sauvignon. It is an outstanding value meant for drinking over the next 12-18 months.
